Benihana

I went here last night to celebrate a friends birthday. I was disappointed by the service and food. Typically I go to Osaka and after my experience last night I will not be returning to Benihana. (Osaka all the way!!!) I put in our reservation and reminded the wait staff 3 times that we were celebrating a birthday. They did absolutely nothing. I also asked the waiter for a glass of wine and never received it after asking twice. Our chef was also in a horrible mood he was not pleasant to be with and really but a negative spin on the whole experience. After explaining twice to the chef that two of the people we were with do not eat meat or seafood he continued to put the meat and seafood on their plates and we had to switch them around ourselves. Really poor experience overall which is too bad.

Excellent dining experience. Waiter was very personable. The manager on duty gets an A plus. We dined at 6 p.m. on Feb. 17, 2020. He was asking to make sure everyone's service was good. He was assisting the waitresses and as we left we saw him shoveling the front walk so people exited safely. Htest experience as we were from out of town.

The website constantly gives an error message when ordering pick up. I call for carry out and they are more than happy to place a person on hold for 10 minutes at a time. Even after telling them you are calling for the second time, you were left on hold the first time and the website isn't working properly. No thanks I'll throw $80 into a meal for a place with decent service!!
